Journals that will soon lose indexing in Scopus part 4
Good day, dear scientists! The Academy of Articles continues our column on publications that will soon lose indexation in Scopus. You all really liked the previous article, and for the fourth time we have analyzed publications that are at risk.
Several journals have already lost indexing, which we wrote about earlier, and our column is becoming useful for many Ukrainian scientists, helping to save both money and time.
Journals that have already lost indexing:
— Review of Economics and Finance
— Journal of Higher Education: Theory and Practice
— Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical and Pharmacotherapy Journal
— REVISTA DE GESTIO SOCIAL E AMBIENTAL
Most of the journals we wrote about earlier are already under review in the Scopus database. This means that their content will be re-evaluated by the CSAB (Content Selection Advisory Board of Scopus), and while the review is ongoing, the articles will not be indexed. The Academy of Articles can confidently say from its own experience that all of these journals will be excluded from the Scopus database.

This time we will look at two journals that are at risk of being dropped from Scopus:
Let's start with the first edition
The journal has published approximately 500 articles of any quality in the last few months, and in one issue. 6,643 pages of text in one issue is a lot.
The journal began increasing the number of articles published in 2023, raising their number from 24 to 68 - almost 3 times more. And now it has published 500 articles, which is 8 times more than last year. The Radar system cannot but react to such gross violations. The cost of publication in this journal is 600$, and the publication period is several weeks. It is not surprising that there are so many people who want to publish in this journal. But, as we have already written, such situations always lead to the same consequences. In addition, we would like to say that publications in indexed journals can quickly publish articles, but they must have appropriate peer review and publish high-quality articles.
We estimate that this journal will be excluded from Scopus within 1-3 months.

Second magazine for today
The style of the magazine is very similar to the two previous magazines we wrote about: Environment and Social Psychology And Journal of Infrastructure, Policy and Development.
Since 2023, the journal has increased the number of issues per year by 1, and in 2024 it has already published 5 issues, in each of which the number of published articles has almost doubled. As of August 1, 2024, the journal has already published more than 280 articles, some of which have already been indexed. As can be seen in the screenshot, the journal has significantly increased its publication activity already in 2023.
The cost of publishing in this journal is not small - 1500$.
We predict that this publication will be excluded from the database. Scopus until the end of 2024. There is a high probability of de-indexing (removal from the database) of articles for 2024.

This time we showed you two new titles again that we predict will soon be excluded from the Scopus database. We also showed four titles that we wrote about earlier that are already being reviewed by Scopus and will be removed from the database. Some of the titles we wrote about are still indexed, but it's only a matter of time. As soon as they are excluded, we will inform you immediately.
Thanks to our articles, Ukrainian scientists were able to save more 2 750 000 UAH, as they were warned in time about the journals on the verge of exclusion.
