Dear scientists of Kazakhstan,
Recently, many of you have been asking questions about the magazine. Scientific Herald of Uzhhorod University. Series Physics. To clarify and help you stay up to date with all the events, we decided to prepare a separate article in which we will answer the most pressing questions.
The journal has already published more than 500 articles Kazakh scientists in various fields, not only in physics. However, it is important to note that of these articles, only 10 were indexed in 2024. 297. The rest 300 articles have not been and will not be included in the Scopus database.
Key question: When will a journal be excluded from Scopus?
We contacted Scopus experts to find out the current status of the journal. At the moment, the journal is on hold and articles from it are no longer indexed.
Following a thorough review by CSAB experts, the journal will be permanently removed from the Scopus list and all articles published in 2024 will be removed from the database.
When will this happen?
In our expert opinion, the removal of articles from the database will occur in September-October. The journal itself will probably be excluded from Scopus in November or December.
Unfortunately, everyone who published in this journal was misled by its editors, and as a result, the articles will not be recognized in Scopus. We are very sorry to report this news.
