The last journal update in the Scopus database was in early February 2025. Tonight, Scopus released a new update covering February 2025, adding only two titles to the official list of removed journals. However, in addition to these officially removed journals, others were removed without public announcement. Scopus chose not to disclose the reasons for their removal, leaving us to speculate about the motives behind these actions. In this publication, we will cover all the removals, including official and unofficial ones.

Journals removed without official announcement:
These journals were excluded from the Scopus database but were not included in the official list of removed journals. Scopus has recently been hiding journals that have committed serious violations and not adding them to the official list. Thanks to ongoing monitoring and research of scientific publications, the Academy of Articles was the first to learn of these exclusions. We continue to monitor the situation and keep our readers informed as soon as possible.
