Case review professor KZ - Madina
How we helped our client publish articles and obtain the title of professor
Brief description of the problem:
Madina turned to us for help in obtaining the title of Full Professor.
She holds a PhD in Medicine, specializing in 8D10101.
Before this, Madina consulted with different companies, but after talking with our manager, she decided to cooperate with us - she was completely satisfied with our conditions.
At the start of cooperation, Madina had:
— 5 articles in journals included in the list of the KOKSNVO MNVO RK
— A monograph has been written
— There was not a single publication in Scopus/WoS
Our solution
In the first stage, we compiled a publication table, entered already published articles into it, and developed an individual strategy to cover all the requirements for obtaining the title.
According to the requirements, Madina needed to:
— Publish 15 more articles in the journals of the KOKSNVO MNVO RK
— 3 articles in Scopus journals with a percentile above 50
— Take part in 5 scientific conferences (3 international and 2 internal in the Republic of Kazakhstan)
Process
First, we discussed the process of publication in the journals of the KOKSNVO MNVO RK.
Madina said that her university has its own scientific journal, and there is also another journal with which she has been collaborating for a long time, so she was ready to do some of the publications herself.
Our task was to write 5 articles for these journals, taking into account possible revisions after reviews.
We prepared the remaining 10 articles on a turnkey basis: writing, journal selection and publication.
In parallel, preparation of two Scopus articles in journals with a percentile above 50 began. Since the client did not have her own data, we prepared a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Madina ordered the third Scopus article three months later, based on her own data, and it was an original article.
We also organized participation in three international conferences:
- Germany
- Poland
— Great Britain
Madina organized two internal conferences on her own.
Result
It took 2 years and 1 month to implement the entire strategy.
The most time-consuming part was the publication of articles in the journals of the KOKSNVO MNVO RK — due to the limited number of journals and long review periods. It took 2 years to publish all 15 articles.
Preparation and participation in the conferences took about 3 months - we completed this stage at the very end.
We closed publications of three Scopus articles with a percentile of 50+ within 12 months.
The client published the monograph independently at her university.
