In a single journal. Without a single warning.<\/h3><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">The database of the journal *Engineering, Technology and Applied Science Research* lists more than 300 papers by authors from Kazakhstan. Each of them underwent peer review, prepared an article, and paid for publication. And none of them received a single warning that the journal would be removed from Scopus.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">In July 2026, this magazine was officially removed from the database. Along with it, 13 other publications were also removed.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">Based on our observations, only among these <strong>14 Journals Removed in July 2026<\/strong> more <strong>450 scientists from Kazakhstan<\/strong> have lost their publications, which no longer count toward their PhD defense, performance reviews, or the conferral of an academic title.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">Since the beginning of 2026, Scopus has already removed <strong>Issue 51<\/strong>.
