Dear scientists of Kazakhstan,<\/span><\/p>

Recently, many of you have been asking questions about the Scientific Herald of Uzhhorod University's Series Physics. To clarify matters and help you stay up-to-date, we've decided to prepare a separate article to answer the most pressing questions.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The journal has already published over 500 articles by Kazakhstani scientists in various fields, not just physics. However, it's important to note that only 297 of these articles were indexed in 2024. The remaining 300 articles have not been and will not be included in the Scopus database.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We contacted Scopus experts to find out the journal's current status. Currently, the journal is on hold, and its articles are no longer indexed.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following a thorough review by CSAB experts, the journal will be permanently removed from the Scopus list, and all articles published in 2024 will be removed from the database.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In our expert opinion, the articles will be removed from the database in September or October. The journal itself will likely be excluded from Scopus in November or December.<\/span><\/p>

Unfortunately, everyone who published in this journal was misled by its editors, and as a result, their articles will not be recognized by Scopus. We are deeply sorry to report this news.<\/span><\/p>
