What happened next?

• First, we selected a KKSON Category 2 medical journal that best matched the article's topic.
• Then we began preparation: we wrote a systematic literature review, using more than 60 relevant sources.
• The result was a high-quality article of Scopus Q3–Q4 level.

📆 We submitted our article in early April, and by June we had completed all the review stages and it was accepted.
📄 All requirements for design and content were met - without unnecessary delays.

At the time of selection in January, the journal was in Category 2 of the COXONE and was fully consistent with the research topic.

📆 And already in March it was indexed in Scopus - and by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in June it was transferred to the 1st category of COXONE.
Although the amount had been agreed upon in advance, Bekzat happily paid the extra money on his own initiative, as the cost of his contribution to the magazine had tripled.

The article was officially accepted and published in the journal, which by the time of publication was already in
1 category of KKSON and was indexed in Scopus.

Thus, he received publication in a Scopus journal:

• 1 category COXONE - and this is a big plus: for a PhD, just one such article is enough;
• Category 1, while for Category 2 journals three are required.
